This is my 9th year as a member of this phenomenal choir and 6th term on the board. I have now held the position of Membership, Development, and Performances over my span on the board. I am excited to continue to help support the Celebration Singers of New Jersey prosper musically and community wise. Whether a new member or veteran this choir holds a special place for each of us. We all came here for the love of sharing and making music together and have found so much more. We are a community choir. If you have ideas, talents to share, or want to help with scheduling, outreach, set up/breakdown, behind the scenes planning do not shy! Get involved!

I am thrilled to be joining the board as I enter my 6th season with the Celebration Singers. I have previously helped out behind the scenes with our cabaret tricky tray and I am looking forward to being more involved with and supportive of the needs and goals of our amazing group.Singing has always brought me so much happiness and to get to do that with people who are not only talented but are also kind and fun is absolutely magical. I am always available to help and listen, so please feel free to reach out to me anytime.

This is my third year with Celebration Singers and my first term on the board. You’ll be hearing from me regularly with our weekly emails and I’ll be keeping you up to date on what’s happening with the choir week over week. I joined the choir looking for a community and that’s exactly what you find here. I come from a family of singers and almost always have a song in my head. I look forward to seeing you all and singing with you on Tuesday nights!

I will only be starting my 2nd term on the board and as a member of Celebration Singers but I have enjoyed every minute. I have sung in church choirs since I was 5 years old but have never been a part of such a talented group of singers and musicians. As a retired Accounting Manager, I felt I could best serve the group as Treasurer. Looking forward to many wonderful years with Celebration Singers.

I joined the Celebration Singers last spring after moving back to the area with one of my best friends. A lifelong theater and choir kid, I graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. I was welcomed into the choir community with open arms and looked forward to singing every Tuesday. I wanted to join the board to showcase the talents of this incredible choir to as many people as possible. Since my day job is in marketing, I instantly knew that this would be the perfect path for my mission. My main goal is to share our talented members and performances via our social media platforms alongside promoting our position in the community through traditional advertising and fundraising.

I joined the Celebration Singers in 2019 as I emerged from being a mom of two tiny people and wanted to rekindle my love of singing first cultivated in college as a member of the Stevens Glee Club and Stevens Dramatic Society. I somewhat reluctantly hopped on the Board in Spring 2022 as VP of Marketing to fill the vacant spot and am so glad I did! It’s a pleasure to help this wonderful community thrive, and as VP of Development, I will continue to do so. When I’m not with the Celebration Singers, I work as a part time tutor of Test Prep, Math, Science, and College Admissions for Pollak Tutors, and in my spare time you can catch me playing Pokémon Go or staying out too late on a weeknight singing karaoke (Alanis is my favorite to sing)

I have been singing in the Celebrations Singers for nine years and I’m pleased to be able to serve another term on the Board, this time in membership. I am so proud to be able to share the community of the Celebration Singers and am always willing to be a “behind the scenes” set of hands. Don’t hesitate to ask where you can help, many new friends are ready to greet you in this wonderful music community.

I joined Celebration Singers in the Fall of 2022 and am excited to be joining the board as the Youth Choir Representative. Celebration Singers is my first experience in a choir as an adult and it has been such a wonderful addition to my life, allowing me to rekindle my love of singing and make new friends along the way! My daughter joined the Youth Choir as soon as she was old enough and it has been such an absolute joy to share my love of singing with her. I am so excited to be working with Sam and all the talented kids each week to help support an incredible musical education experience for our youth!
